Does anyone know how many fiesta st3 facelift mk8.5 was actually made all together for the uk market ? Just be interesting how many it was. Even though it was only just over a year from starting production from when they stopped production.

The headlights are a bit boring.

The only thing i don't like is the small black tail pipes, should have kept the large akrapovic tips.

I would get a mk7.5. These last two iterations are garbage.

I would pay extra for Spektrum color option. Come on Volkswagen! Lapiz is a must. Black is boring. Should definitely bring back Oryx White. Pretorias are coming standard on 2024s. FYI.

What I think is a shame is that you can change the color of the black edition but not the brake calipers.

Blue with black edition is ❤. Only thing I'd change is the calipers blue instead of black to pop through the wheels

Just to make everyone aware that the black edition will only be available for about a year as mentioned in the video from Tish on auto social ,another fantastic channel by the way and for those asking the question does the black edition come in the estate variant ,yes it does ,so get those orders in sooner rather than later guys if your interested, for me if you are going to order one go for the white all day long,looks fantastic guys!

It’s kind of odd to me that the MK8.5 Golf GTI/R is getting more media coverage than the MK8 Golf GTI/R ever did…🤔🤔🤔

Sam I thought the higher tax rate was for cars £40,000.00 plus at manufacturer and the base golf gti is under 40 k so the higher tax rate comes in if you put options on it. I built one it came in at 47 k better to go for the golf R.

Question :) Does you ST Edition have mandatory Speed Limiter beep warning? If it does, how difficult is it to turn it off? Do you have to do it every single time like with start-stop?

Owned the original R, MK4 R32 VR6, wish I never lost her to a flood 😢. With that said, I'm a VR6 fan and always will be, also owned a 1997 Passat VR6 and MK4 GTI VR6. Not at all a fan of the automatic four banger popcorn 🍿 fart machine and for $45K or more that's Audi RS3, a used one, of course, territory. My opinion, of course!

how do the headlights actually light up during DRL? I have seen pics with where the bottom of the headlight is also lit up and some pics which is off (the curved bottom part)?

This is now desirable for me over my maximum specked and modded 7.5, maybe one day in the future once i know if there's no major reliability issues.

Loving the look of the black addition and just teetering as to whether to go for this R or the Gti Clubsport. Currently own a 7.5 Gti performance which when I bought it in 2017 I preferred to the R! I test drove both back to back and the R at the time felt heavy and dead, not agile and fun which is what I wanted having driven sports and performance cars for over 50 years! Anyway had a test drive today in an 8 R which certainly felt better than the one back in 2017. Got to sort a test drive in an 8 version of the Clubsport somewhere shortly before they become available to order then back to the dilemma of which way to jump?

Thanks for this nice video, I am writing from Spain 😀 I have a question for you, on this Monday I have ordered here in Spain a st edition, they told me they arrive in December / January… actually have a mk7.5 golf tcr 3dr whit 56k miles on it, I am happy whit my car but I ordered the focus because is manual and because I have take a big deal , it cost me 36k euro (31k gbp) … my used tcr actually worth 23 GBP and I have to sell it and add money for the focus when arrive. So my big question is if I am regretting this decision in the future, because I have read the VW is better than the ford, but I am a guy that after 3 years whit the same car I am bored and also I would like to try the Manual Transmission of the ford… any advice to me? Thanks and sorry for my bad English… keep it up whit your good work
